Ross Lake - Devils Creek Gorge
This uniquely Northwest trip in North Cascades National Park is home to rugged beauty few know. Jagged peaks, deep valleys, cascading waterfalls, glacier views, and hanging gardens make for breath taking scenery, while our knowledgeable staff goes above and beyond with gourmet food, and first-class equipment. Our trip starts on Diablo Lake then proceeds up the dramatic Diablo Gorge to a truck shuttle over Ross Dam. A little more paddling and we arrive at our picturesque camp nestled between tall evergreens and crystal clear water. Day paddles take us to such attractions as the awe-inspiring slot canyon of Devils Creek Gorge while wonderful side hikes, comfortable swimming and good trout fishing make this a great alternative to ever more popular San Juan Islands.
