If These Trees Could Speak
Little Si, often overshadowed by its counterpart Mt. Si, is one of Washington's many hidden treasures in close proximity to the metropolitan area Seattle. Step back in time as we discuss the history of this rich valley. We will spend the evening hiking through young virgin forests that have stood the test of time, checking out old beaver ponds and learning how rock and ice sculpted this valley thousands of years ago. Once we reach the summit, we will be rewarded with a 360 degree view of the Snoqualmie Valley. A brief lesson on the human history of the valley and a light dinner will wrap up our time on top. As the sun begins to set we will begin our hike back to the trailhead.
