From Forest Groves to Tidal Beaches
Discovery Park sits on Magnolia Bluff overlooking Puget Sound and provides views of the Cascade and Olympic mountain ranges. Our hike will take us through open meadows and forest groves, past towering sea cliffs and active sand dunes. Our destination will be 2 miles of protected tidal beaches, where we will explore the diversity of marine life that abounds.
Location: Discovery Park, King County Washington.
Approximately 5 miles from downtown Seattle.

* All trips after June 1st begin at 6:00 pm. Add one hour to the following itinerary when planning for your trip.
5:00-5:15 pm meet at Discovery Park Visitor Center and sign liability waivers
5:15-6:00 hike down to beach
6:00-6:15 light dinner
6:15-7:00 explore tidal pools
7:00-8:00 return hike to Visitor Center
