Experience Says
Know Before You Go
This was a winter many avid snow enthusiasts from the Pacific Northwest will not forget; high winds, large weather systems and cold temps made for an unforgettable winter season. While crazy weather and tons of snowfall may make for great skiing conditions, the combination of the two reeked havoc on our National Parks and Forests. As the snow begins to melt, the real damage is slowly revealing itself. Millions of dollars worth of damage was done to the Mt Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest alone, causing them to close many roads and trails for the season. If you're planning to hit the trails this season, check out the following informative websites and know before you go.
