Intermediate Rock Climbing Course
Index is home to some of the steepest, cleanest cracks in the Washington Cascades, making it the ideal location for learning the art of traditional climbing. Our intermediate course is designed for climbers looking for an opportunity to further their skills. We will focus on crack climbing techniques, leading, gear placement and anchors.
Location: Index Crags, Snohomish County, Washington. Approximately 30 miles east of Everett.
Difficulty: Intermediate
Intermediate Climbing Course: 9am-5pm
Itinerary:
9:00-9:30 am meet, sign liability waivers, issue gear and hike
9:30-12:30 climb and discuss crack climbing techniques
12:30-1:00 lunch
1:00-3:00 gear placement and anchor building
3:00-4:30 climb
4:30-5:00 gather equipment and return to parking lot
